Bamboo Rainstick Natural - 40cm

In South American communities, rainsticks were used to call rain into dry and arid farming communities. 

Our rhythmic rainstick is made out of a bamboo tube with a hand woven bamboo section on each end. Each rainstick is filled with seeds and when tipped from end to end mimics the sound of rain falling. 

Rainsticks are deemed a percussion instrument and benefit children with coordination and rhythm. The sound of the rainstick is theraputic and supports children in focusing and learning to self regulate.
