Hand Tambourine

A simplified twist on an old favourite. Simply rotate the hand holding the tamborine back and forth pivoting at the wrist and hay presto, you're making music!

Tamborines have been in existence since ancient times in Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, India, and The Middle East. A wonderful resource for connecting children with their world through links to the past, present and future.

This instrument also encouraged children to explore sounds and become immersed in musical improvisation.
