Long before waste wood furniture became a trend, Bima & Rani were already giving discarded timber new life. From old houses, barns, boats, and fallen trees, they salvaged what others left behind and transformed it into something meaningful.

Today, their workshop is alive with over 200 in-house artisans and 800 village craftsmen, all working by hand in the traditional way. Each piece bears the quiet marks of its history—nails, bolts, and weathered imperfections—that make it truly one of a kind.

With V Legal Responsible Timber certification and strong community programs—including the donation of an ambulance during COVID—Bima & Rani’s work is as much about people as it is about wood.

This wooden sorting tray features six compartments ideal for organising small items and encouraging hands‑on learning. Its Montessori‑friendly design supports sorting, counting, matching and early organisational skills while promoting fine motor development and independent play. Lightweight with an easy‑lift cut‑out, it’s perfect for toys, craft supplies or natural materials like leaves and shells, helping children engage in meaningful play that links to the principles and learning outcomes of Australia’s Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) — a national curriculum framework that guides early childhood education from birth to five years and supports quality learning environments and intentional play‑based learning.
