Noongar Hand Painted Turtle On Waterscape

This Turtle pair come in unique designs of shades of djedari ‘brown’, yoornt ‘yellow’ and nodjam ‘green’ colours inspired by the unique shells and skin of the Turtle, hand painted by emerging Noongar artist Simone Hills.

Our Turtles make an ideal addition to your collections and in your discovery trays creating opportunities for Koolangka ‘kids’ to learn through play about Turtles,  traditional Mereny ‘food’ source; turtles and eggs with the shell being used for food preparation and as a carrying vessel, learn about the turtle life cycle and their environment.
