Based on the real-life mass stranding of long-finned pilot whales at Farewell Spit in 2021, Stranded is a tale of loss and hope told from the point of view of a stranded whale. Information boxes accompany the story, which is beautifully illustrated by Isobel Joy Te Aho-White.
