Story Stones - Gathering & Bushfood by Simone Hills

This beautiful set of Gathering & Bushfood Story Stones has been thoughtfully designed by a local Nyungar artist and features Aboriginal symbols connected to gathering, bush tucker, and traditional ways of living and sharing knowledge.

Each of the 12 wooden story stones is hand carved and engraved with meaningful Indigenous symbols, alongside one additional hand-painted and sealed feature stone. To support respectful learning and deeper understanding, the set includes a factsheet explaining the meaning behind each symbol represented. All pieces are stored in a beautifully handwoven dilly bag for easy storage and display.

These versatile story stones are a wonderful resource for encouraging storytelling, literacy, and open-ended exploration while fostering meaningful conversations about Aboriginal culture, gathering practices, and bush foods.
