Handy hint: Use a ring of plasticene or blue tac to stop the drill from slipping across metal at the start of the drilling process.

This range of tools are real. They are not classed as toys and as such can impart injury if used inappropriately. We believe that the right tool should be used for the job, the adult role is to support the child to learn to use tools properly so that they can engage in functional projects such as building.
