Country Colours - Aboriginal Dolls Clothes

Down syndrome or Down's syndrome, also known as trisomy 21, is a genetic disorder caused by the presence of all or part of a third copy of chromosome 21.

The Doll Clothes 38cm set features beautifully crafted outfits for 38cm dolls, showcasing original designs by Noongar artist Simone Hills. Each piece tells a story — from families gathering by the water, to the blooming Bain (Coastal Pigface), the journey of Bindi-Bindi (butterfly), and Kwilena (dolphin) moving through the ocean.

Designed to inspire imaginative and meaningful play, this collection supports EYLF outcomes by promoting identity, cultural awareness, and respect, helping children build empathy through inclusive storytelling.

Noongar Artist Simone Hills, an Awe & Wonder employee, is a proud Ballardong , Menang & Yamitji Moort Yok. Simone Hills is an Artist Member of the Indigenous Art Code. This means as an artist she is adding her voice to the call for fair and ethical trade with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, and transparency in the promotion and sale of artwork.
