Bucket Wood Mini Pair

These small buckets are hand carved from wood and have a twisted cord handle.

They are perfectly sized for small world play and solo sorting experiences. They could be used as a provocation in dramatic play, nature based experiences or to conduct science or maths experiments.

Their addition to play environments would enhance social development and increase language and communication skills. They would encourage sorting, counting and classifying. If used for pouring they would help children with fine motor development, co-ordination and eye-hand co-ordination. Early numeracy skills will be enhanced when the buckets are used with words such as 'in', 'out', 'more', 'less', 'half', 'full' etc:
