Black Bird is a beautiful quilted blanket featuring the artwork of Aboriginal artists Chern'ee, Brooke and Jesse Sutton. The design depicts vibrant green, yellow and blue parrots flying across a colourful blue and rainbow-inspired background.

The artwork shares the story of how, long ago, all birds were black and had no colours. They looked much the same, with differences only in their shape and size. Through the selfless actions of Black Bird, she was magically transformed into the beautiful rainbow lorikeet. Her transformation reminds us that true beauty comes from within, and that kindness and selflessness can shine through in wonderful ways.
