This beautifully crafted roller celebrates Australian native nuts, featuring their natural forms and sounds as an invitation for sensory play and learning.

The native nuts are encased within a handcrafted timber cage with two separate compartments. A perforated timber layer between the compartments allows the nuts to move freely as the roller is shaken or rolled, creating a gentle, rain-maker–like sound. When rolled along the ground, the nuts travel over the timber dowels within the cage, producing a completely different rhythm and sound, offering children a rich and engaging sensory experience.

This versatile resource supports children to explore sound, movement, and cause and effect through play. When shaken, it encourages listening and auditory exploration.
