Archaeological Digging Set

Archaeological sets are an excellent way to combine science education and fun!

With the 8 piece archaeological dig set bag children will feel like they are an archaeologist on a dig site. They will have a site string, 6 wooden stakes and a mallet all in a handy carry bag.

Through the dig process children will engage their minds and their hands as they dig in sand, mud and other forms to reveal artefacts, fossils, gemstones and the history of ancient times through play.

Digging will encourage large motor muscle development, eye-hand co-ordination, language development, precision and attention to detail. Through engagement and conversation children will learn about the role of the archaeologist and the history and artifacts of ancient times.
